A wardrobe is not built from the top down. How to choose
- Spend here on the things that touch you: shirts, mid layers, socks. Save the big money for the coat and the shoes.
- Fit is free. A ninety-dollar shirt that fits beats a four-hundred-dollar one that does not, every time, without exception.
- Buy multiples of anything under this line that you genuinely wear. They wear out; the good version is rarely restocked.
