The Fur Blouson with Ears is a jacket from Cune, $510 at retail. Faux fur with rabbit-ear detailing. Faux fur was everywhere on the FW26 runway; nobody did it with more conviction than a Tokyo brand that has been doing it since 1994.
Mid-winter with something under it; on its own it runs out somewhere around freezing. It reads casual without reading sloppy.
Tagged Japanese and graphic, and down for going out and weekends — those are the occasions the builder will actually put it in front of you for.
A Tokyo Saturday has no American equivalent: clothes bought for the pleasure of owning them rather than for the job they are meant to do. Human Made's Season 32 drops on Saturday mornings and is gone by lunch — the denim coverall sold out at humanmade.jp before most Americans were awake. Cune, meanwhile, sells a faux-fur blouson with rabbit ears and means it completely. The BAPE argyle mohair is the one non-graphic piece in their FW26, and it is what makes the outfit wearable outside Harajuku, or outside Japan at all. The 1944 501 grounds it, because Japanese repro culture began with this exact trouser, and the Kiko Kostadinov GEL-SJ33 is the right shoe for a fit that is already having a very good time.
SkipEffectively all of BAPE's FW26. 173 SKUs, launched 3 July, still mostly in stock seven weeks on — that is the market telling you something. The mohair is the exception.

One garment per remaining slot, chosen the way the builder chooses: occasion overlap, formality that holds across the fit, warmth that agrees with itself, and the layering rules that stop a collar ending up under a hood. Head to toe with the Fur Blouson with Ears: $2,040 at retail.
